We surveyed family law lawyers in Nova Scotia in order to understand how family violence cases are proceeding in family court. We asked them to tell us about their experience representing clients in urgent or emergency situations of family violence, specifically in family court, as well as applying for Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs) and peace bonds.
